Shivaji Maharaj, who had been battling heavy enemies like Afzal Khan and Shahist Khan, unfortunately proved helpless to the family.
As the Governor of Shringarpur, SambhajiRaj did not seek tax collection for one year from drought-hit people. When Soyarabai and the court officials, SambhajiRaje is an irresponsible administrator and started preaching that he is not suitable as the heir to the state. Soyarabai expected that Shivaji Maharaj would be announcing Rajaram’s name as the heir to the state.
